For 2017 they have a new theme for the "pop up" restaurant inside the Kitchener Market Kitchen.  See the info they provided for this year below 

 

Rising Stars – the Canapé Series.

 

On selected evenings in February, March and April, aspiring chefs, restaurant owners and entrepreneurs from Conestoga’s School of Business and Hospitality will host themed pop-up canapé evenings at the Kitchener Farmers Market.

 

Join us to enjoy a variety of international and locally inspired hors d'oeuvres, desserts and live music.

 

Attend one or all three events in the Rising Stars Canapé Series:

February 22: Locally Inspired
March 29: International Street Food Inspired
April 19: Locally Inspired

Rising To The Occasion

Last week we attended the first Conestoga College Rising Stars Dinner @ Kitchener Market. This was a first of an ongoing series happening over the next few weeks at the Kitchener Market's Marketplace Kitchen.

Conestoga College School of Business and Hospitality presents:
the Rising Stars Dinner Series at The #KitchenerMarket

Throughout March and April 2016, aspiring chefs from the Conestoga College School of Business & Hospitality are hosting themed Pop-Up dinners at the Kitchener Farmers Market. These culinary entrepreneurs-in-training will be showcasing local ingredients and exciting menus in a variety of styles, including Asian Street Food, Southern BBQ, East Coast Seafood and more. 

Each 4 course dinner includes Soup, Appetizer, Main Course and Dessert.  Vegetarian options available. 

Location: Upper Level of the Kitchener Farmers Market, 300 King St. East, Kitchener.

Free parking is available on Eby St. 

Doors open at 5:30 pm for Hors d'Oeuvres,
Dinner Service begins promptly at 6 pm

Price: $30 + HST per guest dinner service - Tickets ONLY available online

LCBO licensed event (wine only) - Cash Bar (ATM service available at The Kitchener Market)

As you can see by the images below it was a very unique menu with lots of variety.
