#PrayForLydia Fundraiser @DQLaurelwood

Many in the Kitchener Waterloo area want to do something to support the Lydia Herrle and her loving Family.  #PrayForLydia has brought several people together, not only in our community but from other areas as well (in fact people around the world are praying for her recovery).  Many check the family blog daily to hear how Lydia is progressing, but still people want to do more.

Rob from Dairy Queen Laurelwood in Waterloo is doing just that.  Starting Canada Day & continuing all month you can buy a PAPER RIBBON FOR LYDIA for $1 and the funds will be donated to Lydia Herrle's family.
A HUGE thank-you goes to Trevor Cherewka of TikTokMedia #BRANTastic for creating the paper ribbons.
Like I said the word about Lydia has spread beyond the KW area.  More & more people are getting involved everyday.

In addition Rob will also be having a MIRACLE TREAT DAY FOR LYDIA on July 26.  Stay tuned to https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/433678946665580/

To find out more about the event.

In the meantime please stop by Dairy Queen in the Laurelwood Commons and purchase a Paper Ribbon for $1

People like Rob make KW live up to the hashtag #KWawesome

You can see Rob speaking about the fundraiser at the 9:55 min mark of this video

PHINEAS AND FERB: THE PERRY FILES DVD - Contest

As summer approaches, it makes me think of the Phineas & Ferb.  They are always taking full advantage of every single day of SUMMER VACATION!  In addition to their daily tasks, the secondary storyline is about everyone's favorite Platypus, Perry, also known as AGENT P

As you know this blog always makes sure you have something to do on summer vacation (& year round), but for those rainy days, or winding down times, a DVD can often do the trick!

For that reason I'm giving away 3 copies of the latest Phineas & Ferb DVD

PHINEAS AND FERB: THE PERRY FILES

This contest is open to Canadian residents only, with the exception of those in Quebec.  Take a few seconds and enter!
