Food4Kids Waterloo Region's Feeding Hope 50/50 Draw is now live! This is your chance to give to the charity while entering for your chance to win a cash prize! It is open to residents of Ontario Canada only and now is the time to secure your tickets.

Food4Kids Waterloo Region is thrilled to announce the Feeding Hope 50/50 Charity Raffle.
Proceeds from this online raffle will be used to support 1000 children living with chronic hunger.
Purchase your tickets today not only for a great chance to win, but to help us "Feed the Hope of Children" in our community.
The winner will take home half the jackpot and remaining 50% of the funds will feed the hope of children.

• Draw #3: Ticket Sales from 9:00 a.m. ET, on Friday, October 1, 2021 until 12:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Draw will take place at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 31, 2021. The winning prize will be half of the sales for the month of October 2021.

2015 has been quite the year for me......

As many of you know my Father was diagnosed with Lung and Bone Cancer.   I have spent the last few months helping my family adjust to the diagnosis and finding out what needs to be done.  I am choosing to be very blunt about the situation and not sugar coat it.  Being a "glass is half full" type of person I struggle everyday to find the silver lining in all of this.

Additionally many of my friends have had cancer become part of their family life as well.  We all do what we can to support each other with our similar yet very different situations.  Each situation involves cancer but in various forms and everyone is dealing with different treatment options.

I look forward to the day when a cure for cancer is found.  The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is working on doing just that.

At The Princess Margaret, we believe it is the most noble and necessary quest of all — to conquer cancer in our lifetime.
