With Cinco De Mayo only days away, now is the time to learn how to cook a Mexican meal.  Many of our readers know that I learned a bit about Mexican food preparation in Huatulco Mexico a few years back, but I am looking forward to even more tips and tricks at the Kitchener Market Cooking Class this Wednesday!

Saturday May 5th

 Cinco de Mayo celebration heads up to the Kitchener Market
Kitchener Market will have Latin cultural activities for the whole family, including a mariachi band and cultural crafts by Crystal and Liam of Trash Theatre. There will also be cooking classes for children and adults, featuring Mexican menu items. Live entertainment starts at 10 a.m.

Doors open at noon on Saturday, May 5 at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex, and festivities continue until 8:00 pm. Entry to the event is $4This festival celebrates the Polish culture and contributions to the community, while giving the local Polish-Canadians an opportunity to thank Waterloo Region — for the first time a portion of the proceeds will be supporting the Grand River Hospital Paediatric Unit.
