The Magic of Aladdin May Make Your Wish Come True - Enter To Win

Aladdin was a story many people grew up with but only knowing about rubbing the lamp to receive three wishes from the Genie (just like in the exhibit from this year's CNE)  It was the Disney's Aladdin Animated where I learned the full tale. It was a movie that brought the Genie to the forefront with its casting of Robin Williams.  Since then many movie stars have been in animated films, but for me this was the first one that had a recognizable voices as main characters. The second most recognizable voice in that film was Gilbert Gottfried as Iago the Parrot and the third voice many Disney fans know is Jim Cummings who voiced Winnie the Pooh and several other animated characters.  The fantastic cast, quick paced dialogue and memorable music numbers in this film are what make the animation of this film almost pop off the screen.  You almost feel like you are inside the cave of wonders and flying through the sky on a magic carpet ride because of all the Disney Magic involved!

Drayton Entertainment's ALADDIN: THE PANTO Will Have You Dreaming Of Genies

For for those who have not yet attended a PANTO here's what to expect.

A Panto is a musical production with a lot of audience interaction. The spectators are encouraged to cheer the hero and boo the villian.  While the story is often a well know tale, there are lots of modern twists added whether it be in the comedic scenes or musical numbers.

ALADDIN: THE PANTO

Looking for a family friendly production? We suggest rounding up your clan to head to Drayton Entertainment's ALADDIN: THE PANTO.  This musical experience stars Jamie McKnight which many of you will recognize from last year's SNOW WHITE Panto and most recently from Pirates Of Penzance.  He is joined by an ensemble of talented performers ready to take you on an imaginary adventure to a far away land.

Based on an Arabic legend fromThe Book of One Thousand and One Nights, this production tells the story of a young male peasant, Aladdin, who is coerced by an evil sorcerer to retrieve a magic lamp from an enchanted cave. After the sorcerer attempts to double-cross him, Aladdin keeps the lamp for himself, and discovers that it summons an imposing Genie who will grant three special wishes. With the Genie’s help, Aladdin embarks on a quest to fulfill his wildest dreams and win the heart of the beautiful Princess Jasmine.
