Looking for new things to do with your child? Do you think your child would enjoy participating in science? If your child is between the ages of 3-7, they are eligible to sign-up for an online study with researchers at the University of Waterloo. Participation is free and the studies are quite fun for children! Children get a certificate at the end and a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card. Open Tuesdays at Steckle Heritage Homestead Visit with our farm animals, make a fun farm-themed craft or activity, explore the gardens and enjoy the site!
Time: Gates are open from 5pm – 7pm every second Tuesday from May to October! Register online then come for the full 2 hours or just for a short visit.

Entry Fee: Only $7.50 per person! Friend of the Farm members are free!

Breastfeeding Buddies Walk and Talk in Victoria Park - Thursday Mornings, 10:00am, at Victoria Park in Kitchener. We will be meeting at the Victoria Park Pavillion Parking Lot, and heading out to walk laps in the park with our Buddies and Babies. Afterwards, you are welcome to stay and chat with our staff, volunteers, and fellow parents about Breastfeeding, pandemic parenting, available resources in the community or any other topic you desire! If rain is in the forecast (or other inclement weather), our meetup will move to Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre at 44 Francis St. S.

Open Streets Open Streets returns to the streets in uptown Waterloo in 2022. Join us in June for a fun-filled day that will take over Willis Way. Watch live performances and mural painting, browse through the art market, and join in on the fun and games. The event runs 10:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M.

Wellesley Summer Celebration
The Wellesley & District Lions are very excited to announce their "Something for Everyone" Summer Celebration with all proceeds going to the new Wellesley Township Recreational Centre.

The fun includes 10th anniversary celebrations at the Wellesley Splash Pad with the unveiling of new splash pad features, free hot dog lunch for kids, music with Eric Traplin and the Touch a Truck Big Wheels event.

At 3PM join the Rubber Duck Race at the Albert Erb Conservation Park.

ish and Chips Food Truck will be on location from 3-8PM.

The celebrations culminate with the Duck Dance at the Wellesley Arena at 8PM.

National Indigenous Peoples Day. This day recognizes the cultures and contributions of the First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples of Canada. An original art piece on the surface of Waterloo Public Square will be installed as a visual reminder of the territory and land on which our city was founded.
