The KW Titans treated their fans to an exciting overtime win
over the London Lightning today at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
This battle between two Highway 401 West
teams had everything a basketball fan could ask for. Both teams were back and
forth when it came to taking the lead, and at several times throughout today’s
game the score was tied.
In the fourth quarter the KW Titans were putting up a good
fight but it again resulted in a tie.
Once OVERTIME began the KW Titans seemed to march down the court with lots of confidence and enthusiasm and it showed on the scoreboard. The final score had the KW Titans winning by 10 points!
The game wasn’t the only thing that kept the audience on
their feet today. There was also a
presentation for a local hero, a quick hello from the NBL Canada Commissioner
and speech by the KW Suicide Prevention Council naming the KW Titans as their
ambassadors for 2017. Being Movember
committee members we appreciate hearing about the mental health initiatives
that the KW Titans are involved with.
As always, we were thrilled to see so many Stuff To Do With Your Kids
