Steckle Heritage Farm has 15 acres that needs your help! Our animals need new shelters and fences to keep them safe and warm, and our gardens and orchard need some love so they can treat us well this year. On Sunday April 14th, and Saturday April 27th from 1 to 4, we’ll be hosting work bees for your family to join in and help us cross some chores off our list. This is perfect for families with handy folks and eager kids that might need some volunteer hours for school. If you have power tools you’re willing to bring and share, please let us know so we can plan our jobs accordingly! And if you have a favorite rake or shovel, show it some love and bring it along as well.
Please send an email to
events@stecklehomestead.ca to sign up, and ask any questions
