Canada Day Celebrations In Kitchener Waterloo

Hi Everyone
Let's keep our fingers crossed for great weather on Canada Day!
What's your fave activity on July 1st. Mine is the fireworks at Columbia Lake!But did you know that UofW Student's Union puts on family activities all day on July 1st? on that page, pick Programs in the left column to see what all you can do

Canada's Birthday Bash

We raise our new Canadian flag at 12noon followed by a BBQ. The event is a fundraiser for Clarky's Kids (Children with Cancer). The Kitchener Rangers and their mascot Tex, Fitzhy and Beechy will be bringing the Kitchener Rangers Sports Cages where you can take a shot on net in the hockey cage, throw a pass in the football cage and test your pitching skills in the baseball cage. The Waterloo Fire Rescue will be here with a truck. Enjoy delicious BBQ food, refreshments and live entertainment by the Brass Essentials. Canada Day & Citizenship Ceremony - July 1, 2009Woodside National Historic Site of CanadaFrom 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, celebrate Canada's birthday with a free visit to Woodside. Play Victorian games, sample cake, and discover Canadian symbols.
