Family Fun at Flag Raiders Paintball Games

Because most of us spend a lot of time with family over the holiday season, wouldn’t it be fun to let off a bit of steam together too?
With Flag Raiders Paintball Games, you have the option of OUTDOOR Paintball or their INDOOR facility.  You can pick which spot best suits you and your challengers. Joe’s email signature captures all that they have to offer.

Paintball, Half Splat (low impact), Splatmaster (super low impact), NERF, Axe Throwing and Airsoft
For those with younger kids, an indoor Nerf Party Package sounds perfect, and for those with older kids, one of the other packages listed above may be more their speed.
Whichever you choose, it will be great to get everyone off the couch and get them active over the holidays! The packages available would make great gifts too!

Splatzone Paintball And Adventure Centre – Low Impact Paintball And Bazooka Ball – Enter To Win

We'll start with the Disclaimer – Yes, we did receive a complimentary admission, but this just means we're able to offer you a chance to attend the win a party at Splatzone too! Enter the contest at the end of this post!

Last week we had the opportunity to learn more about the Low Impact Paintball that is offered at SPLATZONE PAINTBALL AND ADVENTURE CENTRE in Cambridge Ontario.  Because my brother, niece and nephew were visiting from British Columbia I thought it was a great way to test out their indoor paintball arena.  My brother and his son have both participated in paintball games before, but because of my niece is only 10, she had been unable to give it a try (due to age restrictions).  Most paintball facilities are for adults and teens, but SPLATZONE offers LOW IMPACT PAINTBALL for those ages 7 and up. That meant all three of them could try it out.  In addition to LOW IMPACT PAINTBALL we were also introduced to BAZOOKA BALL which is recommended for ages 4 and up.

In addition to the variety of packages available to play low impact paintball, you can also rent coveralls to keep your clothes covered.  Each player was equipped with a helmet, paintball gun, low impact pellets and given thorough instructions about how the games would be played and how to operate the equipment.  Once inside the arena they played team vs team games along with a paintball version of dodgeball which kept everyone in the game even after getting splattered.  This kept the kids challenged and engaged during our time at SPLATZONE. My family really enjoyed the fact that they all got to play even though they were different ages, were different sizes and had different levels of paintball skills.

Next up was a trial of BAZOOKZA BALL.  This activity takes place in a “glow in the dark” atmosphere where instead of paintballs being launched, foam balls are shot at targets around the room to collect points.  The equipment includes googles and a special air-gun that shoots the foam balls.  This is a timed game where each team tries to score the most points by hitting targets with different point values from across the room.  Because it might be a little hard to picture this, take a look at the video below to get a better idea of how BAZOOKA BALL works.

They have other offerings at Splatzone as well. They also offer traditional paintball, outdoor paintball, button bash, day camps, parties for birthdays, sport teams, youth groups and corporate events/team building. To learn more about the party packages from SPLATZONE be sure to visit www.splatzone.ca/party.

They even have GIFT CERTIFICATES and with Christmas only 2 months away, they could make a great present!

Plus, we have a contest! See below to learn about how you can win a party from Splatzone Paintball And Adventure Centre. The winner will receive either four Bronze Low Impact Paintball packages, or admission for six players to play two games of Bazooka Ball, and a game of Button Bash. Over a $100 value!
