Right here in Kitchener Ontario Canada lies the childhood home of Sir William Lyon Mackenzie King. Yes, Canada’s 10th Prime Minister, who graces the Canadian $50 bill, lived in Kitchener! His home is known as Woodside National Historic Site.


 
During the Christmas season, they provide visitors a look into past holiday traditions. For this year, Woodside National Historic Site will be having its first-ever Outdoor King Family Christmas Adventure!

The Outdoor King Family Christmas Adventure has something for everyone! 
Warm yourselves by the fire with some cozy refreshments as you enjoy, caroling, storytelling, games and more in this interactive adventure presented by members of the King Family household. Fun for all ages!

Get Your Tickets Now
With limited time slot availability, you need to reserve your tickets now to avoid disappointment! The event lasts for one hour.

Tickets for December 11, 2021 

  • Tickets are $7.80 per person, children 5 and under are free!
  • Tickets must be purchased ahead of time.
  • Timed slots are 6:00/6:30/7:00/7:30 and tickets are limited.
  • For tickets please email at: woodsideontario@pc.gc.caPlease include your name, how many tickets you would like and a contact phone number and Woodside National Historic Site will get back to you.

This is an outdoor experience so please dress accordingly.

COVID Protocols: This is an outdoor event and we have a limited number of tickets per slot. Social Distancing and mask are encouraged.

  1. I remember going here as a child with my family and eating roasted chestnuts. It is a cool experience seeing how life was in the past in our Region. I would like to share that with my family.
