    Winterloo 2016 – 26 and 27 February 2016
Winterloo is an annual event that spans Waterloo’s amazing UpTown. For 13 years, Winterloo has delighted families with great outdoor and indoor events. With a program packed with winter-themed events ranging from dog sled rides to world-class ice sculpting and indoor art activities at the Button Factory, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
This year, Winterloo is dressing up in a new jacket. While still providing families and children with a wide range of activities, Winterloo 2016 will include events designed to welcome young adults, and especially our many students who have made Waterloo their temporary home.
The first change we’ve made is in the dates. Winterloo 2016 will be held on February 26 and 27 2016.
Winterloo takes advantage of the winter season and provides people of all ages an event-packed schedule to break up the winter blues. As the region’s only winter festival, Winterloo 2016 offers unique events such as:
    § World-class ice sculpting
§ Dog sled rides for children of all ages
    § Friendly hockey games
§ Art activities at the historic Button Factory for families needing a bit of warmth
§ The famous Winterloo Chilli cook-off
    § Winterloo 19+
    § Live stage
