Laurel Creek Conservation Area 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Meet us at the critter shelter for a short hike to the boat launch, where we will watch the sun set over one part of the lake and the (full) moon rise on the other. Bring a camera if you wish. We will also be doing chalk drawings and hunting for bats. Free with park admission.

Come and explore the water world of Rockwood. You'll find yourself dip-netting with a naturalist, looking for frogs, fish and invertebrates near the Harris Mill ruins. Be prepared to get your shoes wet! Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Mill Ruins. Free with park admission.

Come watch movies under the stars starting at dusk every Friday night June to Labour Day weekend at Shade’s Mills Conservation Area on Avenue Road in Cambridge.

Rockwood Conservation Area, 10 a.m.
Join the naturalist, and explore the field and forest looking for those creepy crawlers lurking under logs and in the branches. Using nets and spy glasses you'll see just how beautiful bugs can be! Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the trailer by the mini-putt. Free with park admission.

Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
A drop-in program to learn some wild-craft and make something to take back to your campsite. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Sunset Pavilion. Free with park admission.

Frog Slog
Guelph Lake Conservation Area 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Meet as at the Island boat launch today and we'll hunt for some of our local frogs, toads, salamanders and turtles. Learn all about their habitats and life cycles, and make your own sticky frog to take home. Free with park admission.

KidSummer @ Waterloo Regional Museum (DOON)

9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. FREE Admission for Children!
KidSummer is a great family day where children of all ages can have some good old fashioned fun! LIVE musical entertainment, horse drawn wagon rides, fun activities in Doon Heritage Village and the museum galleries.
