How Great is Great Wolf Lodge? Very Great Indeed!

How we made a GREAT ESCAPE to Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls

Earlier this week my son & I travelled to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls.  I thought I share our fantastic experience.  We were newbies to the hotel and loved how much there was to see and do.

We arrived at 11am & were greeted by quite a friendly bunch

also in the lobby we met with Joy the Group Sales rep for Great Wolf Lodge.  It was so great to meet her in person after conversing over email.  She was so warm & welcoming (as was all the staff at the hotel)!

Being that check in isn't until Noon we decided to have Brunch at the all you can eat Buffet restaurant (switches to lunch at noon).  After that we checked into our room.

It consisted of 2 Queen sized beds, a love seat, a fridge (which was used for our own supply of drink boxes, water bottles & cans of ice tea we brought) and a microwave.

From there we spent hours in the waterpark, which by the way is AMAZING!
We tried most of the slides, the wave pool, the lazy river, but also spent time playing water basketball in the activity pool.

After that we headed back to the room for a quick snack and then off to the arcade (did I mention it was my son's birthday as well- SO MANY TOKENS, but lots of fun).  Then back to the waterpark

Around 7:30pm  we tuckered out, so we went and ordered a pizza at their onsite takeout pizza counter (thanks to @sassymodernmom for the suggestion) and ordered a pizza.  Then brought it back to our room to relax and watch some TV after all that activity.

After a good night's sleep we got up & VITAMIN'D UP

then headed for breakfast again followed by a trip to the Trading Post.
Let me tell you I was tempted

My son decided on this shirt,

because we're all about Star Wars in this family! After that guess what happened? If you guessed WATERPARK you're right!  Your Waterpark pass is good for the day you check-in starting at 1pm until the 9pm the day you check out! We would have went mini-golfing as well except that it was raining.  Oh well, something to try next time & yes there will be a next time! Besides the mini golf, there's also spa services and a "mini cub camp" for those with younger children! We did find one more fun thing to do before we left the hotel

FYI I did pay regular price for this trip & was not asked to post about it.  It's all my own doing :)
BUT  you don't need to pay regular price because Joy arranged a DISCOUNT for the #Stuff2Do members! If you book by Aug 7th you can get $100 off by using the codes for the selected dates found here
http://www.scribd.com/fullscreen/61006560

& you too can have A GREAT WOLF DAY!
