Travelling Through Time In TOMORROWLAND
As mentioned in our TAKE ME TO TOMORROWLAND post, Tomorrowland at Walt Disney World holds a special place in my heart. It was amazing to see this popular Disney World attraction come to life on the big screen. Starting at the World's Fair (where Tomorrowland was launched by Walt Disney) and letting us know IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL this film travelled both backward and forward through time, while inspiring and exciting the audience.
The social messages in this movie reminded me of Disney Pixar's WALL-E and it's premise to inspire others to make changes now in order to create a better future. The film itself was like seeing a next level version of Walt Disney World's Tomorrowland Park. Everything from monorails to smiling friendly faces ready to create a bold new futuristic world, and while the It's A Small World ride has an impact at the beginning of the movie, the ending of the film brings the memorable song full circle.
We suggest this film for families with older tweens and teens.
