Play in the Park is a free morning drop-in program for children ages 4 to 12 to enjoy outdoor games, crafts, and activities with their parent/guardian or caregiver, in neighbourhood parks.
Note: City of Kitchener program staff are not responsible for child supervision.
Dates: July 2 – August 22 (No program Aug. 4)
Ages: 4-12 years
Days: Monday – Friday
Time 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Sunday, August 31st – Kitchener Rangers Fan Fest and BBQ Presented by Longos
Fan Fest (11am-2pm), vs. The Saginaw Spirit at 2pm
Join us Labour Day Weekend for our Annual Fan Fest and Barbecue Presented by Longos! Taking place at The Aud (Parking Lot A), admission to the Fan Fest free for all fans and will include a number of activities including inflatable games, rides, an autograph session with Kitchener Rangers players, and, of course, a BBQ!
Net proceeds from BBQ, as well as admission to the exhibition games, will once again go to support Make-A-Wish Canada. Tickets for the game can be purchased at Fan Fest under the Kitchener Rangers tent.
The Rangers autograph session will run from 11:00 am -12:00 pm, with some extra availability from Rangers scratches (This means the autograph session will end promptly for players participating in the game. Signatures from every player can not be guaranteed).
