  1. We spent this gorgeous day outside at the Sugar Bush - first stop at Mapletowne at Mountsberg for pancakes, a sleigh ride/guided tour through the sugar bush and fun playing in the barn... Then using the same admission receipt, we went to the Iroquian Village for the Sweet Water demonstration and toured the long houses: http://www.conservationhalton.on.ca/events.cfm?itemid=3512

If you go to Crawford Lake be sure and stop at the Gift Shop for a question scavenger hunt, the kids get coloring books and stickers after completing the answers...

About a 30 minute drive from KW. Well worth the trip on a gorgeous day like today! :-)

  2. One easy way to decorate a nursery is to use an image from art history. Many western painters have painted for children, such as this painting, by English artists Stanley Spencer, http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-8LT7RP , should look good on the nursery wall.
It's available as a canvas print of any size to be delivered to your home, from wahooart.com. It's affordable too.
