#letstalkRESPs #TwitterParty Alert

Now that you have filed your taxes and claimed all those RRSP deductions, it's time to switch gears and talk about RESP amounts for your child's education.

Many families do not realize what an impact an RESP can make!

Did You Know?

Did you know that there are "grant-matching" options available to families that contribute to an RESP?

According to CST there is $7,200 or more in government grants for your child’s RESP depending on the financial situation of your family.

The earlier you act on that knowledge, the less of a burden will be put on paying for your child's education.

For more useful financial information about RESP contributions visit CST's Why save with an RESP? FACT SHEET and join their TWITTER PARTY happening this week!  Check out the twitter party info below.  Be sure to register for the #letstalkRESPs twitter party and see why RESP contributions can be saving you money in the future.

#TwitterParty ALERT: #CSTLearningProject Is Preparing Students For What The Future Holds

Look Towards The Future

Years ago if you wanted to predict the future you had to visit a fortune teller and gaze into a crystal ball.  I don't they were ever predicting the internet, social media, smartphone apps or the act of "Googling" something.  If they did, we would have all been studying to master these skills to prior to to tech/startup boom.

This is why CST Consultants have created the #CSTLearningProject. It is preparing students for what the future holds.  While it won't be predictable, it is best to be prepared for the opportunities that the future will bring.

CST Learning Project Competition

Our friends over at CST get this. They are about to launch their annual CST Learning Project competition which funds new learning activities for children with $250,000 up for grabs. (They take the future seriously). It’s part of their cool Inspired Minds program that also includes Careers 2030—a deep dive into the possible careers our kids will have. (Robot Counsellor? Data Miner? Rewilder?)

To get set for this great opportunity they are offering a twitter party filled with great info about the competition and some "futuristic" conversation. Get the details below so you can put that crystal ball away for good!
