It's A Bird, It's A Plane, No It's Lots Of Planes!
On Canada Day weekend we got to experience the Waterloo Air Show from the media tent at the Region of Waterloo International Airport and what an experience it was!

We spent the afternoon looking to skies to see all the various aircraft take flight. There were stunt planes, historic planes and of course the famous Canadian Forces Snowbirds"@those2girls: #snowbirds flying over #kwawesome #wrawesome #was2014 @waterlooairshow pic.twitter.com/0GY9RUBdJq" nice pic!

Taking a Nostaglic Look
In between the flights there was a lot to take in at the show. There were quite a few historical planes onsite and opportunities to take a spin with their pilots! For the kiddo crowd there were planes they could climb into and lots of photo opps with the all airplanes and their flight teams. To see the Waterloo Air Show from our point of view be sure to visit our Waterloo Air Show Facebook Album
More Than Just An Aerial Show
In addition to the planes there was a jet powered school bus, a food truck rally and cool zones situated throughout the viewing areas. While the weather was warm, what really warmed our hearts was the thoughtfulness of the Waterloo Air Show to provide a sheltered area for the Canadian Forces Veterans in attendance. We had a great time at the 2014 Waterloo Air Show and suggest following them on twitter to learn more about Canadian aviation.
If you want to know more about our experience or have an event you would like us to cover, be sure to send us a tweet or message our Those2Girls facebook page! We are always looking for Stuff To Do
