Movie Night- Wreck it Ralph
Shade's Mills Conservation Area, 450 Avenue Rd., Cambridge
Come watch movies under the stars starting at dusk every Friday night! The food concession will be open and offering snacks and drinks. Visitors should bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit in front of the big screen. Movies are all rated parental guidance (PG) or general admission (G) and are suitable for families. The movies are free for season pass holders and day pass holders. Or, up to six people in a vehicle can gain admission for a special flat fee of $10 on Friday nights starting an hour before show time. Cancellations will be posted on Facebook and Twitter.
Time: 8:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
Price: Free with admission or $10.00 per vehicle

The Laurel Creek Citizens Working Group is hosting a Community Planting event on Saturday, June 8 around Eastbridge Pond. Drop in between 9 a.m. - noon and help plant 200 native shrubs and 100 wildflowers around the shoreline. Vegetation on the banks helps to improve water quality and provides habitat for wildlife!

The city provides hand tools, gloves and refreshments. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear. A parent or guardian must supervise their child under the age of 18.

This is prime bird watching season as songbirds are pairing up and beginning to nest. Come and learn how to use an iPod for bird song identification. You can bring or borrow a pair of binoculars to help identify bird species. We will also examine different bird nests up close. Children 16 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
