This year Lightning Banjo Productions is bringing THE
VELVETEEN RABBIT to the stage and they have been busy getting ready for this sensational
seasonal play.
The tale of stuffed bunny originally published in 1922 has
been re-imagined in so many ways over time and we cannot wait to see it performed
at the Registry Theatre this December. For those unfamiliar with the story it begins
with a toy bunny Christmas present which makes it the perfect start to this
holiday season.
The Velveteen Rabbit becomes a special toy for the little girl that
lives in the nursery, but when illness strikes the bunny's bravery is tested.
It seems that all hope may be lost, but that, as all boys and girls know, is
when the very best magic can happen.
We have been to Lightning
Banjo Productions performances in the past and because their family
friendly plays are so delightful the tickets go very quickly! Be sure to grab
your tickets before they are gone!

Performances Friday December 7 at 6:30pm
Saturday December 8 at 2pm and 6:30pm
Sunday December 9 at 2pm at The Registry Theatre.
Tickets are $20, general admission, $15 seniors and children (12 and

The show will run between 45 and 50 minutes with
no intermission.

ReplyDeleteOne of my faves as a kid. I want to have the day out with my son and bring my mom and aunt along, they also loved that book and would be a wonderful generational experience for us all. Just love theatre .
