Join the Kitchener Market Kids in the Kitchener Facebook Live Movember Event on Saturday, Nov. 14.
The Kitchener Market Chefs, Nicole and Rob, will show you how to bake and decorate moustache cookies on the City of Kitchener's Facebook page for this year's Movember Kids KW event. The Kitchener Market has been partnering with Movember KW for a decade in order to bring awareness of this important movement to local families. This year it looks a little different as an online event, but we are sure you will enjoy spending the morning baking with your family.
Residents will be able to pre-register for a fun night of activities at the Kitchener Market including a spooky science show, a family photo booth and take home a pumpkin after their visit. Limited space is available. Each cohort will be given a 30-minute time slot.
Registration opens Saturday, Oct. 17. Visit www.kitchener.ca/ActiveNet to register. Families can only register for one of the two nights.
Please note, we suggest we check with the event/venue in
advance to see what safety precautions they have put in place and decide if it
is an activity that you are comfortable with.

Since handing out candy has been exorcized, we've used our sorcery and put together some amazing prizes to giveaway instead. Join us for our first ever St. Jacobs Pumpkin Parade! With your help, we will be transforming King Street to “Stephen King” Street with Jack O’lanterns and haunted decor. Starting at 6:00pm head down to King St. with your pumpkins. Costumes are encouraged!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Pick up your FREE pumpkin or gourd and instructions at either The Stone Crock or Block 3 from October 23rd-28th (while quantities last). Plan your costume and carve your prize winning pumpkin!

Our volunteers from The Optimist Club of St. Jacobs will make sure it gets lit with a candle. Stroll the beautiful candle lit and spooky village and enjoy the best season of all Halloween!
