Since 1995, The Strictly Hip have been evangelists, spreading the good word of The Tragically Hip's music far and wide. We'll also feature a showcase of local talent with performances by Kitchener's own Hugo Alley and To The Trees.

While listening to the live musical performances have a burger fresh off the grill, enjoy a drink in our licensed area, participate in a variety of onsite activations, visit one of our many downtown patios where you can listen to live music throughout the day.

The night will be capped off with a spectacular fireworks display off of City Hall presented by the downtown Kitchener BIA.

  1. This July 1st marks 151th Canada day. It is an occasion when one hundred and fifty-one years ago Canada got freedom from British Empire, earlier it was a colony of Britain. It is celebrated with great zeal and passion every year. In 1867, July the first, Canada became a federation of four colonies, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, and it became a self-governing Dominion of Great Britain.
