An annual litter clean-up event sponsored by Tim Hortons is held on the fourth Saturday in April from 10 a.m. to noon in Waterloo Park off of the entrance of Albert and Young streets. Tim Hortons provides garbage bags, gloves, t-shirts and refreshments. A grand prize draw takes place at noon - be there to win

Tim Hortons community clean-up - Saturday, April 25, 10 a.m.- noon, Victoria Park (downtown Kitchener). No registration required. Clean-up supplies provided. FREE Tim Hortons snacks, prizes and t-shirts and entry into a draw for a mountain bike (two bikes to be won on-site!).

Bring your family and friends to join the Rotary Club of Guelph in celebrating Earth Day and year eight of planting of the Rotary Forest – 40 hectares of forest being established at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area. Groups are encouraged to participate to assist with planting and there are also many activities. Rain or shine. Come for one hour,or stay for five! Free parking atLakeside Church, 7654Conservation Road, Guelph, with shuttle service.There are many events.

Working with the Grand River Conservation Authority, the County of Brant and the Brant Tree Coalition, the CELP students at Paris District High School has undertaken a class project to conduct a public tree planting event. The public is invited to help improve the environment by helpint to plant 1,000 native trees and shrubs.
