Currently the top contact lens research centre in the world is continuing to accomplish great things through research done right here at UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO

The studies are non-invasive and all of our participants are compensated at $20/hr for their time and often get free contact lenses or glasses.

Right they are recruiting 7-11 year olds to participate in a 3yr study

Twelfth Night is the last of the Twelve Days of Christmas and is the culmination of all the season's celebrations. The Mill Race Folk Society had been celebrating this unique and ancient holiday for the last several years.

The celebration includes:

• Festive buffet
• Live music
• A traditional Cornish Mummers Play, "St. George and the Dragon"
• Pub carols from South Yorkshire and Derbyshire
• Performances by Orange Peel Morris, Oakville Ale & Sword Dancers, Wolf at the Door Molly Dancers, and Tethera
• An English Country Dance hosted by Relative Harmony
• Father Christmas and The Green Man

Refreshments will be provided and there will be a cash bar. People are encouraged to come dressed in costumes or fancy dress. The more extravagant and fantastic the costumes, the better!

The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer is a multi-award-winning one-man micro-epic puppet show that melds technology and multimedia into a touching story of enduring love and the end of the world.
A visually inspired solo show, The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer is created by Tim Watts, who employs a unique blend of puppetry, live and recorded music, and animation to present an exploration of the next and oldest frontier: the deep blue sea. Seas have risen, billions have died. Alvin Sputnik is our only hope. He must venture to the bottom of the ocean to find his wife's lost soul and save humanity.
Having charmed audiences worldwide, and received countless five star reviews, the show has been performed over 300 times across the world including Korea, China, New Zealand, US, Canada and the UK.
This production was originally supported by The Blue Room Theatre.
