I have always been a fan of Free
Comic Book Day! It is a great day to see what is buzzing in your
community. When I first heard of Free Comic Book Day I thought it was a
day that comic book stores got rid of old comic books that didn't sell. BOY WAS
I WRONG!
What Is
Free Comic Book Day?
Free Comic Book Day is when comic companies such as Marvel and DC Comics giveaway
limited edition Comics made especially for this yearly event.

retail book stores. Check your local listings for comic book stores to see if

ReplyDeleteWe had a comic book store down the street from our old house. They would go all out on Free Comic Book Day. My son and husband thought it was awesome. If we still lived there it would be my youngest daughter that would be begging to go.

ReplyDeleteTalk about being surprised! I didn't know that it was limited edition, I honestly thought the same as you, that it was just to get rid of old comics! This is definitely something to watch out for.

ReplyDeleteI've ne er participated in Free Comic Book day before. I love that you shared more info about it, I thought it was just random comics being given out. That's definitely worth going to since it's limited edition!
ReplyDeleteComics is one of those very few entertainment when I was going up. We didn't have TV so reading comic stories and listening to radio were the best.
