Bring your kids age 7-12 to the Marketplace to stir up a storm with fun themes and activities focused around food, cooking and nutrition. HARVEST FESTIVAL – WINE AND DINE FARMER STYLE FREE EVENT
9 am: Fall Soups and Stews -Autumn leaves are swirling down; the air is starting to feel crisp and frosty! Warm up to a bowl of homemade soup or stew using one of the fabulous recipes you'll learn in this cooking demonstration.

10 am: Sheridan Nurseries Learning Session on prepping and planting bulbs in the fall time! Please join us for this fun, free session.

11 am: Local Wine and Cheese - We continue our celebration of autumn harvest with a wine and cheese pairing class featuring Kitchener Market vendors Pillitteri Estates Winery. The cheese used in this class is from Mickey McGuire's Cheese and River's Edge Goat Dairy. ChefD of At Home with ChefD on Rogers TV will be the hosting chef for this event. If you want to learn more about classic wine and cheese pairings this is the class for you!

HARVEST FESTIVAL – THANKSGIVING SIDE DISHES FREE EVENT

10AM-11AM

Join our Chef for a tour of the lower market where he will show off his favorite local vendors. Once the tour is done you can come back up to the Marketplace and watch a live cooking demonstration using the ingredients he purchased! Sample the dish and then feel free to continue exploring the market on your own.

HARVEST FESTIVAL – COOK LIKE OMA FREE EVENT

Bring your family to learn how to make pretzels and other traditional German food like Oma makes, but Chef D style. Afterwards, see traditional German dancers and music, along with appearances from some of your favorite Oktoberfest mascots!
