Time To Get Fresh With The Chopped
Leaf
Being the JAMIE OLIVER FOOD REVOLUTION AMBASSADORS FOR KITCHENER WATERLOO, we were thrilled to learn that The Chopped Leaf had opened a location in Waterloo Ontario. From the moment we walked in we fell in love with the modern atmosphere and once the fresh food arrived we were hooked.
Read on learn about our experience at The Chopped Leaf and how you can enter to win a dinner for 4 at their Waterloo location.
Wondering if The Chopped Leaf is all chopped up to what they say it is?
The Chopped Leaf is a franchise that began in Western Canada with an emphasis on fresh and healthy options. They offer both seating in their establishment as well as to go meals that can be ordered online or in person. This fits well within the KW community. It gives families another option when it comes to quick service meals. Be sure to check out their menu to see all the offerings available.
What We Ate At The Chopped Leaf
We each had a Chef Designed Signature Salad which we added grilled chicken to. Diane's choice was SOUTHWEST and mine was SUNSHINE. Each Chef Designed Salad was filled with fresh ingredients and dressed to perfection.
As a beverage with our meals we each had a Fresh Cold Pressed Juice with our meal and after we took some Chopped Water to go!
Eating at The Chopped Leaf was an amazing experience and while we left feeling full we didn't feel like we needed a nap. The fresh vegetables and lean protein gave us energy to carry on with the rest of our day. With choices like salads, wraps and veggie rolls there will be something on the menu for everyone in your family. They even have a kids menu to get your kiddos eating healthy!

I tend to have salad moods. I can go from a grilled Chicken Cesar to a greek , to a whatever I feel like. I mostly use spinach and romaine as the base or another funky type of lettuce. I do not like iceberg, there always has to be grren and black olives and cheese ( feta and old cheddar) in any salad I have no matter the other ingredients.
ReplyDeleteI love pumpkin seeds, hemp hearts and berries on top of a chicken salad.
ReplyDeleteI love to throw in chick peas, beets, sunflower seeds, along with all the usual suspects like cucumber, tomato, onion, mushrooms and that sort of thing. I will throw in chicken if I want a bit of protein.
