With Winterloo changing dates and the cancellation of the MS Movie Morning this year, Family Day in Kitchener Waterloo will look a lot different for many families. Not to worry! A fun-filled annual celebration for the entire family with activities that kids and kids-at-heart can do together. Explore the exhibitions, make spectacular artwork of your own, listen in on tales told by Kitchener Public Library storytellers, and participate in dramatic play and games.

B @ THEMUSEUM, located at the front of THEMUSEUM, will also be open from 10:00am to 5:00pm with special food and beverage promotions. Every purchased kid's meal will receive a free ice cream dessert, and they will als be offering select $5 pints.

Pinehurst Lake Family Ice Fishing Day
Invite your family and friends to join you for a day of ice fishing on Pinehurst Lake. This event is open to everyone from first-time anglers to seasoned ice fisherman. Equipment and bait will be available for new anglers, but there is a limited supply. There are numerous draw prizes and you will have a chance to win just for entering. This is a catch-and-release event, with prizes drawn at 2:30 pm. A fishing license is not required by Canadian residents during the event because it is being held on license-free Family Fishing Weekend. Hot drinks and food will be available.

Kitchener, ON, March 26, 2016: On Easter Saturday, a group of Conestoga College Business Students will fundraise for Lisaard and Innisfree House, which offers comfort, care and closure to patients and their loved ones through the end-of-life journey. The students will be selling “forget-me-not” plant seeds and seedlings grown in egg shells, join us for free candy, and enjoy a morning at the Kitchener Market.
