For those who follow me on Facebook, you have noticed my updates regarding my Dad. This summer he was diagnosed with both lung and bone cancer and is currently receiving treatment. In addition several of my friends have had cancer touch their lives this summer as well. Each of our affected loved ones are each suffering from a different form of cancer. Because of the different affected areas and treatments, we are unable to really compare notes but we support each other online. Knowing that you can reach out online to someone is a similar situation can be both a comfort and a motivator.
