Finding My Inner Teen
While most self help sites recommend finding their inner child, I know that putting on some 80s music is all the therapy I need.
Being a teen in the 80s ment you used way too much hairspray to hold that style while you bopped to the top 40 tunes.
One of my favorite songs from that era was Love Is A Battlefield. I remember not fully understanding what was going on in this video (and now watching it again, I'm still not sure that I do) but I remember I wanted to be Pat Benatar in that striking green dress, doing a shimmy dance battle with what is now referred to as a flash-mob.
Pat Benatar's songs were anthems of the 80's and we are here to tell you she is back on the scene!
Why not re-live some of your 80's memories by heading to see Pat Benatar when she makes a stop at Kitchener's Centre In The Square?
But wait there's more......

One of my fave eighties moments was dancing to Lady in Red at the roller alley with the guy I had a crush on!
ReplyDeleteI love singing her songs at karaoke!
ReplyDeleteNeon clothing, socks over top of nylons and jelly shoes!
ReplyDeleteCrazy hair and AC/DC were my entire 80's :)
ReplyDeleteHigh school dances, going to the roller rink where I lived in Toronto, hanging out in my friends' basements, best thing about the '80's was the music. My first concert was Def Leppard. And I also got my license in 1985 and graduated high school. The 80's were the best. Pat Benatar is my favorite female singer, I had all her albums and a poster of her hung up in my room. She's awesome!!
