Movie Night - Spiderman

Shade's Mills Conservation Area, 450 Avenue Rd., Cambridge
Come watch movies under the stars starting at dusk every Friday night! The food concession will be open and offering snacks and drinks. Visitors should bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit in front of the big screen. Movies are all rated parental guidance (PG) or general admission (G) and are suitable for families. The movies are free for season pass holders and day pass holders. Or, up to six people in a vehicle can gain admission for a special flat fee of $10 on Friday nights starting an hour before show time. Cancellations will be posted on Facebook and Twitter.
Time: 8:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
Price: Free with admission or $10.00 per vehicle

Then Saturday night there is  an Outdoor Movie (Madagascar 3) with free popcorn, pop and hot dogs for the first 500 people.End the night with a spectacular Fireworks Show for Canada Day.

Canada Day Celebration

Sunday, June 30, 2013 | 6:30 – 9:30pm Location: New Apostolic Church 319 Bridgeport Road, East Waterloo, ONNew Apostolic Church 319 Bridgeport Road, East Waterloo, ON Summary: Free admission and BBQ (donations are welcome). Erick Traplin, Grand River Inflatables, face painting, horseshoes, road hockey and more. The event will end with a spectacular fireworks show. Canada Day @ Waterloo Region Museum (DOON)

9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. FREE Admission!

Waterloo Region Museum is throwing a party to celebrate Canada Day and everyone is invited! Admission is FREE to the museum and Doon Heritage Village for this fun family event including musical entertainment, fun games like croquet and horseshoes. Guests bring your own picnic lunch or purchase a tasty BBQ lunch.
