You can help us fill our truck by bringing your reusable clothing, linens, shoes, purses and other soft goods. We also recycle E-Waste, such as Cell Phones, Digital Cameras, MP3 Players, Inkjet and Toner Cartridges, TVs, Computers, Printers and more. Please package these items separately. Address:75 King St. S.On Tuesday August 30 at 4:00pm Waterloo community members are invited to attend a Zumbathon in support of UNICEF’s initiatives in East Africa. Students from Waterloo have been working together to organize the event which will take place at Waterloo’s Public Square on King St. Beginning at 4pm, there will be the first of two Zumba classes (4PM & 7PM) followed by a break where attendees may enjoy food and beverages along with some information about the crisis in East Africa. A second class will be held at 7pm.
Instruction will be by Liliana Dominguez who teaches ‘Zumba with Liliana’ classes in the Wilmot Area: New Hamburg, Wellesley, Baden and Stratford. Anyone interested in participating can do so with a minimum donation of $10 to UNICEF collected at the event.
