Kitchener Ice Pirates will be hosting our
2nd annual Friendship Tournament February 18-19, 2017. This
tournament will comprise of 21 teams with players of varying abilities.
The Kitchener Ice Pirates is a hockey program consisting of players with developmental delays, who range in age from five through to adults. The players have a wide variety of diagnoses, including; Autism, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Global Developmental Delays and more. We are affiliated with the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association and Hockey Canada. The program now has four teams: Senior, Intermediate, Junior and Fundamentals of Hockey (each team being based on player ability, not age). seasoned professionals alike! Pinehurst Lake Park will host Family Ice Fishing
Day on Monday, February 20. Free bait and equipment will be available for
